Dr. Jingqi Zhu is Associate Professor in International Business at the University of Liverpool, UK. Her research examines the impact of globalisation of services on society, organization and employment from a sociological perspective. She has conducted studies in knowledge-intensive and professional service sectors including accounting, finance, law and information technology. Jingqi is a qualitative researcher, studying people and organizations through in-depth interviews and participant observations. Her research is informed by comparative political economy, with a specific focus on China, Japan, the UK, and most recently Africa. Jingqi is a recipient of Best Paper Awards from the Academy of Management conference, the largest and highest profile conference for management researchers. Her work appears in leading and 'FT Top 50' journals, including Human Relations, Accounting, Organizations and Society, Organization, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, Journal of Professions and Organization.
