Vicky Nie
Vicky Nie has broad teaching experience at business schools in Canada, Australia and China. She holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from University of Birmingham, UK. She has taught finance and business courses at MacEwan University, Alberta and Thompson Rivers University, BC. She was a visiting scholar at RMIT University, Australia and Central Lancashire University, UK. Before relocating to Canada, she was an associate professor and master supervisor at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, China. Vicky has more than 15 years industry experience in corporate strategy consultancy and trade financing. She is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist and a senior consultant of Kmind Constancy Ltd. She worked at HSBC Data Processing Centre before she became a faculty. Vicky also owns a digital marketing firm providing marketing campaign for Great West Life Property Management. Vicky’s research fields are Foreign Direct Investment and Case Teaching. She is active in MBA cases development. She has published three business cases with Richard Ivey School of Business and one case with China-European International Business School.
