Shimin Chen

Dr. Shimin Chen is Zhu Xiaoming Chair Professor in Accounting and Director of Case Center at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He was previously Associate Dean for MBA at CEIBS and Associate Head at School of Accounting and Finance, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Chen has extensive teaching experience internationally and published numerous articles in leading academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Auditing: the Journal of Theory and Practice, Journal of Corporate Finance, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, etc. He served as an executive editor of China Accounting and Finance Review for many years. Dr. Chen is also an award-winning case author with teaching cases published by ChinaCases.Org and Harvard Business Publishing. He also participates in corporate governance by serving on boards in the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong as an independent non-executive director.
