Dr. Liman Zhao is a senior case researcher at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). She has developed 60+ cases on entrepreneurship, innovation, family business, corporate social responsibility, negotiation, and strategictransformation. She has published 14 cases with Harvard Business Publishing (HBP), 15 with IVEY Publishing, 28with ChinaCases.Org, and 3 with Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies collection. Her cases have been recognized as best cases in multiple international case writing competitions, including Global Contest for the Best China-focused Cases (2018, 2019), CEEMAN Case Writing Competition in cooperation with Emerald (2018), and EFMD Case Writing Competition (Responsible Business Category, 2019). She has published two case book collections titled “Social Innovation: Sustainable Development Model and Financing Dilemma” and “Family Legacy: Selected Cases in Asia and Europe.” As an entrepreneurship scholar, Dr. Zhao has strong research interests in social and international entrepreneurship, and the design of innovative business models. She has published a range of academic research articles and book chapters internationally. She has served as an international judge for the Family Enterprise Case Competition (2019-2020) and a reviewer for Asian Case Research Journal (2020).
